How do I get an App Store Connect API key?
- Go to App Store Connect
- Navigate to Users and Access > Integrations > App Store Connect API
- Click the "+" button to create a new key
- Give your key a name and select "Admin" or "App Manager" role
- Download the .p8 file (you can only download it once!)
- Copy the Key ID and Issuer ID displayed on the page
- Enter all three values in the App Store Connect Manager settings
How do I get a Google Gemini API key?
- Visit Google AI Studio
- Sign in with your Google account
- Click "Create API key"
- Copy the generated API key
- Paste it in the Gemini settings tab in App Store Connect Manager
Note: The Gemini API key is optional and only required if you want to use AI-powered text generation and translation features.
Why are my changes not appearing in App Store Connect?
There are several reasons why changes might not appear immediately:
- Wrong language: Make sure you're viewing the same language in App Store Connect that you uploaded
- Caching: App Store Connect may cache data. Try refreshing the page or waiting a few minutes
- Version state: Changes can only be made to versions that are in "Prepare for Submission" state
- API permissions: Ensure your API key has the necessary permissions (Admin or App Manager role)
Is my API key secure?
Yes, your API keys are stored securely:
- All credentials are stored in the macOS Keychain, which provides hardware-level encryption
- Your keys are never transmitted to our servers
- All API communication uses HTTPS encryption
- The app runs in a sandboxed environment
Why does AI generation include unwanted formatting?
If AI-generated text includes markdown formatting or emojis:
- Make sure you're using the latest version of the app, which has improved prompts
- Always review and edit AI-generated content before uploading
- The App Store does not support markdown or most emojis in metadata
Can I manage multiple Apple Developer accounts?
Currently, App Store Connect Manager supports one set of API credentials at a time. To switch accounts:
- Go to Settings
- Enter the new API credentials
- Click Save
Multi-account support is planned for a future release.
